Early Beginnings

From playing hockey at the tender age of 4 until the end of high school, Lavu Aku's journey into the world of music began with his first guitar in 5th grade. His passion for music only intensified as he pursued a music concentration program during his high school years. Always drawn to the sounds of Blink-182, Coldplay, and Muse, Lavu Aku's musical tastes laid a strong foundation for his future endeavours.

Musical Evolution

In 2012, Lavu Aku's musical horizons expanded with the discovery of House Music, inspired by the legendary Avicii. However, tragedy struck in 2018 with Avicii's untimely passing. Undeterred, Lavu Aku embarked on a part-time bachelor's degree in physics for personal enrichment in 2019. Yet, it was in 2021 that his true calling emerged as he found inspiration in the works of Kygo, leading to his inaugural foray into music production. By May 2021, Aku released his first personal musical production, marking a pivotal moment in his career. By September 2022, he made the decision to temporarily halt his physics studies to fully immerse himself in music production.

Musical Milestones

December 2022 witnessed the release of Lavu Aku's debut single, "Holding On," marking his official entry into the music industry. Building on this success, April 2024 saw the release of his second single, "This Dream", further solidifying his presence as a burgeoning music sensation.
